We the pastors of the Texas State Council, 13th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., express our heartfelt condolence to the family and entire apostolic community upon the death of our beloved diocesan, the Honorable Bishop Norman L. Wagner.  We appreciate the spirit of excellence and the wisdom he exhibited in leading our council.  Our council made great strides under his headship, and will miss him greatly.

 

The following schedule have been planned for his Home-going Celebration Services:

 

Monday, February 8, 2010 - "The Celebration of a Worshipper"

There will be an "Apostolic - Pentecostal Requiem" [a musical celebration] honoring the life of  Bishop Norman L. Wagner  beginning at 7:00 p.m. Many gospel artists & featured guests will be rendering praise & worship as we celebrate the life of a consummate worshipper of an exalted Jesus. This service will be held at the Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Road, Lowellville, OH 44436 (330-536-6279).

 

Tuesday, February 9, 2010 - "The Celebration of a Shepherd & Statesman"

The body will lie in state for viewing from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Calvary Ministries International, 1812 Oak Hill Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507 (330-747-445). The services will now begin at 7:00 p.m. and be held at the Covelli Convocation Center, 229 E. Front Street down town Youngstown, OH 44503.

 

Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - "The Celebration of a King Among Princes"

The body will lie in state for viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Covelli Convocation Center, 229 E. Front Street downtown Youngstown, OH 44503. The National Service of Home-Going will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Presiding Bishop, Dr. Horace Smith, will be the eulogist. All PAW Bishops are requested to wear their official garb with the purple chem ire. All other PAW tiers of leadership are also requested to wear their official garb. The interment will be held at the Green Haven Lawn Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting monetary contributions made payable to "Calvary Ministries care of the N.L. Wagner Foundation" mailed to 4235 Pebble Beach Drive, Canfield, OH 44406. http://www.calvary4u.org/
